Six day event showcases both luxury real estate and prestigious lifestyles
The six-day luxury real estate and lifestyle event, which began September 1st and runs through the 6th, is hosted by Olivia Hsu Decker, the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading luxury Realtor and her company, Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty, located in Marin County, California.

An August 10th, 2008 article in the Real Estate section of the San Francisco Chronicle (San Francisco Chronicle, 8/10/2008, Carolyn Said) noted that the event expects to attract the world’s wealthy, with many of the potential buyers expected to be affluent and "mostly from overseas."
According to a report released in early August of this year by the National Association of Realtors, it is estimated that between 150,000 and 190,000 homes in the United States were sold to foreign buyers during the 12-month period from May 2007 to May 2008. The most popular states for foreign buyers were Florida, California and Texas, according to the NAR report. The Chronicle also noted, "The counties with the most high-end sales are no surprise: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Marin."
